BFI – Wings of Desire

About This Project

On 1 November 2015, Glasgow Film Festival presented a very special immersive screening of Wim Wenders’ Wings of Desire at Paisley Abbey. The event was one of the national highlights of the BFI LOVE season, and was complemented by 20 simultaneous screenings of Wings of Desire at partner cinemas across the UK. With performances from experimental musicians Tut Vu Vu, artist Kathryn Elkin and aerial performers Spinal Chord, Wings of Desire at Paisley Abbey was a unique, unforgettable cinematic experience.
